Craighead Nursing Home, Newport-on-Tay

While employed with Cochrane McGregor Architects in Edinburgh, Gary was Lead Architect throughout the design and construction of this 59 Bed Nursing home. Completed in April 1995 and costing £1.2 million the building was constructed by the contractor client, Pillars Limited.
Designed especially to suit the sloping site over looking the Tay and Dundee to the north, while maintaining a substantial element of timber frame construction for speed and ease of erection. The building provides a homely atmosphere while providing a range of special features to aid residents and staff.
